Our fantastic CDA is moving out of Beautiful BC and leaving a huge hole to fill on our dental team. Could you be the next Rockstar Certified Dental Assistant that we are looking for?
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our established dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the office while providing exceptional care to our patients. This position requires a blend of clinical expertise and interpersonal skills, making it essential for the candidate to be both technically proficient and compassionate. We would love our CDA to be fully comfortable with Tracker software. A second language in Portuguese would be a huge asset.
Duties
Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Take x-rays and iTero scans as needed.
Maintain patient records, including updating medical histories and documenting treatment plans.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment area according to infection control protocols.
Manage patient flow efficiently.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
Proficiency in dental assisting with a strong understanding of dental terminology.
Familiarity with dental software Tracker is preferred.
Proficient in Portuguese would be an asset.
Days: Full time hours Tues-Fri 8am-4pm and 2 Sats/month 8am-3pm
