As a Taxation Specialist, you'll be pivotal in ensuring compliance with federal and state tax regulations, optimizing tax strategies, and providing expert guidance to our organization and clients.Roles/Responsibilities:Prepare and review federal and state tax returns (e.g., Form 1040, Form 1120, Form 1065) with precision and meet filing deadlines.Stay abreast of evolving tax laws, regulations, and guidelines, and monitor updates from the IRS and state tax authorities.Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, deductions, and credits, organizing supporting documents for tax filings.Assist during tax audits by providing requested documentation and collaborating with auditors to resolve discrepancies.Develop tax-efficient strategies in collaboration with finance and management teams, identifying opportunities to minimize tax liability while maximizing benefits.Conduct research on available tax credits, deductions, and cross-border tax matters, including transfer pricing rules and foreign tax credits.Provide expert guidance to clients or internal stakeholders, explaining complex tax concepts clearly and assisting in making informed decisions.Evaluate potential risks related to tax positions and balance tax optimization with risk mitigation.Address client inquiries related to tax compliance and planning, building strong client relationships through exceptional service.Conduct research on tax issues, rulings, and court decisions, analyzing financial data to optimize tax outcomes and prepare tax memos and documentation.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field.CPA certification is mandatory.Minimum of 3 years of experience in US taxation.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Join our team and contribute your expertise to our dynamic organization!
