Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. This position requires a friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems ClearDent.
Manage appointment scheduling.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including billing and estimates to insurance processing..
Experience
Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred;
Proficiency in using dental software systems is desirabl.
A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential for success in this role.
