💰 $4,200 - $6,720 (Est.) 📍 Melbourne 🕐 2 days ago

Job Description

At Sportsbet, we’re united behind our purpose to “Bring Excitement to Life” for our 2 million customers (and growing!). We do this by over-delivering through our commitment to fun, challenging the status quo and living our values. As part of the Flutter Group, we’re a global player, but in Melbourne, Sydney and Darwin we’re a tight knit group of 1,300 teammates (of which over half are in our Tech and Data Science teams!).

We are a significant contributor to the Australian economy through racing and sporting codes and we are committed to having a positive impact in society by supporting our customers, our communities and our employees. Our commitment to responsible gambling is genuine and demonstrated through the wide range of responsible gambling initiatives and tools.

About the role

Sportsbet is on a mission to become a world-class betting and wagering business, trusted by all our stakeholders and operates in a highly complex and ever-changing sector. We're looking for an experienced and passionate Change and Capability Manager to play a key role in achieving this vision, who thrives in a values driven, fast-paced environment. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact in a dynamic and maturing organisation.

Reporting into the Program Director – Risk & Compliance Optimisation, the role will spearhead the required change and capability initiatives to drive an enhanced and modernised approach to risk and compliance management and on-going engagement activity across Sportsbet. The successful candidate will ensure that risk and compliance-related change initiatives are effectively defined, communicated, managed, and adopted across the organisation, and that employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to comply with risk and compliance management practices and relevant procedures and policies. You will drive a culture that is consistent with the aims of the Sportsbet Risk & Compliance Optimisation Program and maximises the likelihood of sustainable changes which integrate effectively with the broader Sportsbet operating model and functions.

Responsibilities include:

Work with stakeholders to design, execute and oversee a comprehensive change management strategy and plan which supports risk and compliance optimisation across Sportsbet and aligns to program and organisational objectives.
Align with colleagues and subject matter experts to ensure effective implementation of new risk management practices by providing change management, learning and business readiness expertise.
Co-ordinate and drive the design, development, and delivery of awareness and training and programs by collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure the approach and content are fit for purpose.
Lead and coordinate stakeholder engagement and communication activities, ensuring a collaborative and transparent approach to change initiatives.
Deliver high-level, timely, and accurate advice regarding the change process. Identify, track, and report on issues or barriers that could impede progress, offering actionable solutions to address them.

About you

A proven team player with a strong track record in delivering business outcomes through engaged teams and stakeholders.
Experience in project and change management, particularly with large-scale initiatives.
Experience operating in highly regulated consumer-facing environments (Risk and Compliance would be highly regarded but not essential).
Proficiency in change management methodologies.
Ability to develop change artefacts and manage risks effectively.
Leadership and coaching skills to support teams and sponsors.
Managing various level stakeholders in an ever-changing regulatory and business environment and navigating multiple key priorities.
Building and supporting collaborative, cross-functional relationships.
