Chartered Accountant Job Description
We are looking for a highly qualified Chartered Accountant with years of experience to lead a team of accountants. The Chartered Accountant is responsible for implementing accounting systems and processes, preparing monthly financial reports, controlling the master data of the general ledger, and ensuring compliance with the state & central revenue service.
To be successful as a Chartered Accountant, you should possess a stable working track record excellent oral and written communication skills, and be highly knowledgeable in the broad spectrum of accountancy accounting practices. You should also be certified and accredited with the relevant association and governing body.
Chartered Accountant Responsibilities:
• Oversee the duties of the accounting team & implement accounting systems and processes.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. Also, should place audit systems for other manufacturing departments as well.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry standards. Ensure compliance with tax laws & other government departments.
• Utilize accounting software and systems to manage financial data, streamline processes, and enhance efficiency.
• Drafting of submissions before government departments, tribunals and ensure compliance with state & central revenue service.
• Advising on all TDS, TCS, GST & other compliance departments.
• Manage the full financial process.
Qualifications:
1. Education: Hold a recognized degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CA certification or equivalent is required.
2. Experience: Relevant experience in accounting, auditing, taxation, or financial advisory services is preferred.
3. Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
4. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse complex financial data, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights.
5. Attention to Detail: Exhibit a high level of accuracy and precision in financial analysis and reporting.
6. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
7. Ethics: Uphold the highest ethical standards in financial reporting, compliance, and client confidentiality.
8. Problem-Solving: Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address financial challenges and provide innovative solutions.

10. Software Proficiency: Proficient in using accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial tools.
