About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, preferably in Ed Tech or technology-driven businesses. You will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, cash flow management, and tax compliance, as well as working on fundraising, investor relations, and financial modeling.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee financial reporting, cash flow management, and tax compliance.
Work on fundraising, investor relations, and financial modeling.
Handle payroll, ESOP structuring, and tax optimization.
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence.
Prepare MIS reports, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decisions.
Manage audits, statutory filings, and liaison with auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions.
Ensure timely closure of books and maintain strong internal controls.
Monitor burn rate, unit economics, and revenue metrics to support business growth.
Requirements:
CA (Qualified) with 3+ years of experience, ideally in Ed Tech or technology-driven businesses.
Strong understanding of fundraising, VC reporting, and due diligence.
Proficiency in financial modeling, business planning, and investor decks.
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, Quick Books) and Excel/Google Sheets.
Strong communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
