Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Accountant Manager to join our well-established company, located in Jaipur. As a Chartered Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial advice. The responsibilities also include developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders and preparing sales reports. Account Managers also answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers. In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Customer Service and Product Development departments) to improve the entire customer experience. This is an on-site position, and no work-from-home (WFH) arrangements are permitted. We require immediate and urgent candidates to fill this role.
Responsibilities:
1. Financial Management: Oversee the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, financial planning, and cash flow management.
2. Accounting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and tax returns.
3. Financial Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports for management, shareholders, and regulatory authorities.
4. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.
5. Audit Management: Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
6. Risk Assessment: Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
7. Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures.
8. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the management team to develop long-term financial strategies and goals.
+. Financial Analysis: Perform financial analysis, forecasting, and modelling to support business decisions and growth initiatives.
10. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support.
Extended Responsibilities:
● Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
● Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
● Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
● Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
● Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
● Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
● Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
● Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
● Prepare reports on account status
● Collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within the territory
● Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountancy Certification is mandatory.
- Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Chartered Accountant, preferably in the fashion/jewellery industry or events management industry.
- Solid experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho CRM or HubSpot) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as QuickBooks, Tally, or other relevant accounting software.
- Candidates with BA/BS degrees in Business Administration, Sales or a relevant field are also eligible.
- Advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and modelling.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, multi-tasking and presentation abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Job Location:
This position is an on-site role and requires the candidate to be present at our office in Malviya Nagar, Jaipur. No WFH and No Hybrid Setting are allowed for this job position. A suitable candidate with the required skill set/experience/expertise/software knowledge is required to fulfil the work duties responsibly.
