Job Description
This position hires, trains, manages, and oversees the cook team to ensure customers receive the highest level of satisfaction and product quality possible and leads by being a hands-on example at all times.

PLEASE NOTE: Only candidates with a high level of culinary skills and leadership experience will be considered for this position.
Responsibilities:
Monitor kitchen to ensure the standard operating procedures are met
Manage kitchen staff including training, mentoring, and disciplining
Support and manage all food preparation
Work with the Executive Chef on menu development
Assist in interviewing, selecting, and on boarding of all new cook hires
Receive deliveries and monitor inventory
Build and coordinate staff schedule, support BOH staffing needs when necessary
Assists with payroll related responsibilities
Send HR related documentations such as trail paperwork, worker’s compensation, and incident reports
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Experience:
Must have a minimum of 8 to 10 years fine dining experience
Senior level kitchen management experience is required
Must have a your own vehicle and valid driver's license
High school education, cooking school, or culinary institute education or equivalent is required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must be highly motivated with great organizational skills
Must be able to work long hours and special events as needed
Detail oriented, ability to perform tasks in a timely manner
Fluent written and spoken English required
Self-motivated with demonstrated strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving and time-management skills
Food Safe Level 1 is mandatory
Schedule:
Full-time: approximately 45 to 50 hours per week plus offsite events as needed
