As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing delicious and high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen hygiene standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to restaurant standards and customer preferences. - Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. - Ensure all food items are fresh, properly stored, and adhere to food safety regulations. - Manage kitchen staff, including assigning tasks, training new employees, and monitoring performance. - Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and specials. - Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed. - Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and food preparation areas. - Monitor and control food costs to maximize profitability. - Handle customer inquiries and special requests professionally and efficiently. - Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Requirements: - Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a restaurant setting. - Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines. - Strong leadership and communication skills. - Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment. - Attention to detail and a passion for culinary excellence. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
