Fabrika By Madera is seeking a passionate and reliable Chef de Partie to join its kitchen team on a full-time permanent basis (38 hours per week). In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for managing a designated section of the kitchen, consistently delivering high-quality dishes while maintaining efficiency and strict adherence to food safety standards.
We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie who takes genuine pride in their craft and is eager to contribute to a venue committed to raising the standard of dining.
This role is well suited to a chef with strong restaurant training who thrives in a structured, disciplined kitchen environment and enjoys working collaboratively to deliver consistently excellent results.
Manage a designated section of the kitchen andensure consistent food preparation and output.
Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to menuspecifications and quality standards.
Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef in menu execution and kitchen coordination.
Report directly to the Head Chef regarding dailysection preparation, stock levels, and service performance.
Monitor and manage stock levels, including ordering,rotation, and storage of ingredients.
Maintain compliance with all food safety, hygiene,HACCP, and WHS standards at all times.
Ensure portion control, food presentation, andplating standards are consistently maintained.
Conduct temperature checks, maintain cleaningschedules, and ensure proper food handling practices.
Assist in controlling food costs and minimizing wastage.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and maintaincleanliness of workstations and tools.
Ensure timely service and smooth workflow during serviceperiods.
The Successful Candidate must satisfy the following criteria:
Certificate IV in Kitchen Management or Diploma ofHospitality Management or higher.
Food Safety Supervisor Certification.
Demonstrated understanding of HACCP and WorkplaceHealth and Safety (WHS) principles.
Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a fast-pacedand quality-driven commercial kitchen.
Proven ability to supervise and train junior staff.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to food qualityand consistency.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independentlyand collaboratively.
Genuine passion for cooking and professionaldevelopment within the culinary field.
