Job Title: PGT Chemistry Hiring For Academic Year 2026-2026 (Expected Date of Joining will be April/July 2026)
Job Location: Mayo College Girls’ School & Mayoor School Ajmer, Rajasthan
Required Qualifications & Work Experience: Postgraduate in the subject with a B.Ed. degree.
Min 3-5 years of teaching experience with ICSE and Cambridge Curriculum preferably in a Boarding School or a Co-Education Day Boarding School teaching up to Grade XII.
We invite CVs of Educators having experience in teaching PGT Chemistry with curriculum ICSE and Cambridge.
The role requires promising Interpersonal, Leadership, and Communication skills, with the ability to function as a multitasker delivering efficiently.
Brief of Job Responsibilities of the incumbent in the said role are listed as below:-
Academic Duties and Responsibilities:
• Teaching students for classes up to XII.
• Prepare lesson plans and deliver them effectively with proper follow-up and maintaining accurate records of student progress in accordance with departmental and school policies.
• Taking remedial and extra classes.
• Using appropriate strategies, use the campus as a classroom, and an interdisciplinary approach.
• Providing academic assistance and support to the students.
• Participate in class observation and provide valuable constructive feedback.
• Conduct and participate in workshops and share best practices.
Pastoral and Boarding House Responsibilities:
Taking additional duties of pastoral care in the boarding house, and performing the responsibility of a Tutor which includes the following:
• Conducting tutorials as tutors with the assigned group.
• Communicating and reporting to the Housemistress/Housemaster.
• Prep supervision, Mess duty, and involvement in House activities.
• Organizing field trips and escorting students within the country or abroad for various competitions, activities, educational tours, and exchanges.
• Interacting with Behavioral counselors for the emotional and social well-being of the students.
Sports/Co-curricular activities:
• Games Duty.
• Assist in organizing inter-house and inter-school sports activities and prepare students for the same.
• Activity duty in various Clubs and Societies in the afternoon.
