About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Chief Fashion Design Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of pattern making, draping, and fashion illustration, along with the ability to uphold our brand's aesthetic while driving its growth in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design comprehensive collections aligning with our brand vision.
• Create visionary boards incorporating fashion forecasts, colours, and trends for upcoming collections.
• Oversee the sampling process from concept to final product, ensuring top-quality results.
• Develop detailed tech packs with specifications.
• Maintain accurate design documentation, including production notes and tech packs.
• Assist in photoshoots and create engaging lookbooks/catalogues.
• Develop styling concepts and conduct market trend analysis.
• Effectively archive and present collections.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Educational background: Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design from a reputable institute.
• Strong knowledge of pattern making, styling, and fashion illustration.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) and MS Excel.
• Excellent creativity and artistic ability, with a strong understanding of textiles, fabrics, and garment construction.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with artisans and production teams.
• A genuine passion for sustainable and handcrafted fashion.
