Job Description
The chief operating officer (COO) is a senior executive tasked with overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of a business. The COO typically reports directly to the chief executive officer (CEO) and is considered to be second in the chain of command.
Responsibilities
• Create a robust governance strategy in line with DBIL risk appetite and growth ambition – Monitor, and ensure compliance to DBIL Policy Standards and Guide
• Work closely with the business managers and credit risk , collections to ensure a timely creation of the annual budgets ( Expense budget, Head count, Provisioning etc) and close tracking of the same through periodic reviews.
• Create a robust Business intelligence, MIS and reporting structure that allows for a close monitoring of the asset business and helps in asking both tactical and strategic decisions.
• Liaise with various partners like L&C, Audit, Technology, Operations, Finance as required for the smooth functioning of the Consumer Credit Unit.
