As the COO, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end administrative, medical, human resource, and quality functions while ensuring operational excellence and financial growth.

Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the overall operational and financial functions of Apex Hospitals in Mumbai.
• Supervise medical and general administration, HR practices, and compliance with NABH, NABL, and other healthcare quality standards.
• Handle P&L responsibilities and drive profitability across all service lines.
• Develop and execute strategies to improve service delivery, operational efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Build strong relationships with consultants, surgeons, and key stakeholders in the medical fraternity.
• Ensure seamless patient care, safety, and satisfaction by implementing best practices.
• Oversee talent management, staff performance, and employee engagement strategies.
• Monitor KPIs and operational metrics and lead improvement initiatives based on performance data.
• Ensure full regulatory compliance and uphold ethical standards and quality benchmarks.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align strategic goals with hospital expansion and patient care excellence.
Requirements:
• MBBS/BAMS/BHMS/MHA/DHA/MBA or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 10 years of proven experience managing P&L in a 35+ bedded multi-speciality hospital.
• Deep understanding of hospital operations, medical administration, and regulatory frameworks.
• Established rapport with medical consultants, surgeons, and healthcare professionals.
• Familiarity with quality standards and certifications such as NABH and NABL.
• Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage complex challenges in a dynamic healthcare environment.
