Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Childcare Provider to support the well-being and development of our 3-yr old son in a nurturing environment. This role involves engaging our son in activities, ensuring his safety, and providing attentive care that promotes his growth. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for working with children and possess the skills necessary to create a positive and enriching experience for children.
Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor our son's activities to ensure safety and engagement
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks in accordance with dietary guidelines
Assist with daily routines such as diapering, dressing, and nap times
Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities and playtime
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties
Communicate regularly with us (parents) about our son's progress and needs
Foster a caring, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere that encourages social development
Skills
Experience working with children.
Ability to prepare healthy meals and snacks suitable for children
Strong caregiving skills with patience, empathy, and attentiveness
Knowledge of child development principles and age-specific activities
Cooking skills to support meal preparation routines
Cleaning skills to maintain a hygienic childcare setting
Teaching abilities to promote learning through play and structured activities
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
Work Location: In person
