Qualifications & experience
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in babies apparel preferred
Tertiary qualified in Textile Graphic Design or Fashion Design
High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop
Garment construction knowledge
Textile and trim knowledge
Proven experience designing original textile yardages, placement print and embroidery graphics
Tasks & responsibilities
Research key trends, shapes and colour palettes to create mood boards.
Design storyboards in Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop
Interpret design ideas and produce unique repeat yardage prints, placement prints, embroideries and graphic design (logos, illustrations, packaging and tags)
Working closely with the Business Manager to create commercial product to suit specific retailers' requirements
Work with design team to troubleshoot design issues
Generate detailed, scaled final artwork for factories – for fabrics, trims and packaging
Lab dip and strike off review/approvals
