Job Description
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Property Assistant Manager to support the daily operations, maintenance coordination, and administrative functions of our property portfolio. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable working both in the office and onsite to address building issues, vendor coordination, and resident inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Property Manager with day-to-day building operations and administrative tasks.
Conduct regular onsite inspections of common areas, mechanical rooms, parking areas, and grounds to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance.
Coordinate maintenance work orders with service providers and follow up to ensure timely completion.
Assist with overseeing contractors, trades, and scheduled maintenance activities.
Respond to resident, tenant, and owner inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports, including maintenance schedules, incident reports, and inspection documentation.
Assist with preparation of monthly management reports, budgets, and financial documentation as required.
Support the enforcement of property rules, policies, and procedures.
Provide on-call support for urgent issues as needed.
Qualifications
Previous experience in property management, building operations, or a related field is an asset.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to handle physical tasks occasionally (e.g., inspections, moving items, assisting contractors).
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office is an advantage.
Valid driver’s license preferred.

Pay: $45,000.00 per year
