UNIX Generalist
• Provide general UNIX systems administrative/engineering support for a large, complex interconnected system w/both
• physical and virtual environments hosting multiple operating systems including Windows, Solaris and Linux;
• 5+ years of proven experience with the analysis, planning, design, implementation, upgrade, and migration of applications hosted on
• Solaris and/or Red Hat Linux;
• Understanding of file storage, DB connections, log analysis and other supplemental exposures;
• 2+ years of proven experience with WebLogic Administration/Configuration in a Solaris/Linux environment;
• 2+ years of successfully demonstrated experience with Unix shell scripting, Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, and SQLLoader;
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a strong focus on customer service and solution ownership;
• Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner, demonstrate strong problem solving skills
• Hands-on implementation experience with high-availability architectures;
• Proven mastery of troubleshooting techniques and the ability to solve problems quickly
