Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Coordinate and execute various volunteering programs in your city and also handle
virtual volunteering programs of organisation.
Volunteer Management & Volunteer mobilization in your city
Visit & shortlist beneficiaries in Schools, Colleges and Communities
• Identifying & maintaining partnerships with Partner Organizations and corporates
• Identify and engage vendors & procurement of materials (on need basis)
Track, analyse data, prepare reports, and share with all relevant stakeholders
Overall project management of the city
Day-to-Day Operations
Help identify and implement creative solutions for any problems
Requirements
• Excellent Communication skills
• Interest and passion to learn.
• Creative and innovative thinking.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing guidelines.
• Good work ethic and being able to communicate effectively and manage expectations.
• Having a two-wheeler and knows driving - Desired
Preferred Education Qualification
• Graduate/Post Graduate degree - BSW and MSW preferable, any other degree are also welcome
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Good written and verbal communication skills – English, Local Language in the city applying for
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with volunteers, staff, beneficiaries, stakeholders and vendors
• Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
• Good computer knowledge and MS Office skills
• Willingness to travel – locally (inter-city when required)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Prior volunteering experience would be an advantage
• Effective persuasive skills
• Innovative problem-solving skills
Other Information
• Scope: Full-time,
• Probationary period - 3 months
• Willing to work with organisation for minimum 2 years
• Working days: Monday to Friday + 2 working Saturdays a month
• Office Timing: +.30 am to 6.30 pm
• Non-Chennai Employees - Travel to Chennai for training programs and quarterly meetings as and when required (Travel & Accommodation will be taken care by Organisation)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to ₹400,000.00 per year
