Job Description
We are currently looking for a dedicated Civil Quality Control Engineer who will play a critical role in overseeing and ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards for civil works. In this position, you will perform quality control surveillance and inspections during various stages of civil construction to ensure that all work aligns with contractual and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform quality control inspections on all civil construction activities.
• Conduct surveillance for quality control during the installation and final inspection phases of civil works.
• Ensure that work complies with project specifications, drawings, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with site engineers, subcontractors, and project managers regarding quality standards.
• Document findings from inspections and maintain comprehensive quality control records and reports.
• Identify non-conformances and facilitate corrective actions.
• Support project teams in upholding quality standards throughout the construction process.
Qualifications for Success:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Must hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in civil construction, or 5 years of related experience as a Technician.
• Strong understanding of construction standards, quality control processes, and inspection procedures.
• Exceptional communication and documentation skills.
