Due to our continued growth and increasing client base, we are seeking a Claims & RTW Technical Support to join our expanding Injury Management team! You will be joining a team of knowledgeable and supportive consultants working with a range of National clients to assist with all matters in return to work and injury management.

The Role:
The role of the Technical Coordinator works closely with a range of different clients such as Universities, manufacturing, retail and Councils.
Day to day you will be:
Supporting National RTW Consultants on internal compliance audits, strategic file reviews and monitoring workload distribution
Support the Principal Consultant to manage NSW self-insurer clients with technical support, i.e. case reviews, sign off of Section 78 notices, strategic legislation advice to case managers, assisting with process improvement and client management in managers absence.
Be involved in the NSW Self insurer association for industry contacts and promotion of services.
Provide additional support for internal teams’ workload and leave periods.
Short term secondments to support clients’ workloads and leave coverage (as required).
About you:
You are a highly motivated team player that thrives on working with and helping people. You are able to work within the parameters set and offer a balanced and strategic approach to your work. You are organised, structured in your working and strive to provide the highest quality of customer service to clients.
We are flexible with working hours. This is a permanent part time position.
Mandatory: minimum 5 years experience in the NSW workers compensation scheme; including application of case management in all areas i.e. PIAWE calculation, issuing Section 78 notices, completing work capacity assessments and tail claim management
NSW self-insurance experience highly desirable
Technically strong and able to refer to current legislation/Acts regularly
Ability to work independently in a high volume role with exceptional time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail
Clear understanding and application of legal claims management
Ability to work with multiple team members successfully
Honesty, integrity, a good team attitude & positive approach.
