Local leading International Travel Agency is seeking for a Japanese speaking client operations executive.

Position: Client Operations Executive (Japanese Speaking)
Contract: Permanent Monday-Friday + 30 (Hybrid work is allowed after probation and upon agreement with line manager.)
Location: Central London
Salary: 28K 33K GBP (Depending on your experience)

Job Overview:

This highly successful wholesale Tour Operator are looking for a Japanese Client Operations Executive to join their expanding team in their London office. The candidate would be responsible for the successful operation of tours primary for their Japanese groups. The successful applicant will also be required to work with other nationalities including U.S., Canadian & Israeli markets as well as other markets as may be required.

Responsibilities:
• Respond to and follow up Client enquiries ensuring all deadlines are adhered to in a timely manner
• Meticulous planning of itineraries for the successful operation of group tours
• Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally to facilitate the development of profitable business, sustainable relationships and effective service.
• Support existing customers through appropriate proposals in order to optimize business growth and customer satisfaction.
• Manage, organize, and update relevant data using database applications
• Liaise closely with all internal departments for the smooth running of the booking process
• Adhere to cancellation and daily option deadlines
• Raise Client invoices and work with accounts teams on account queries and prepayments
• Request & negotiate services in accordance with the itineraries (eg coaches, guides, restaurants, etc.) when necessary
• Day to day contact with clients both in writing and verbally as may be required
• Maintain profit margins and update profit and loss reports

Requirements:
• 3 years of experience in Travel Industry, experienced in MICE
• Fluent in both English and Japanese and professional understanding of Japanese CultureExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of global travel destinations and logistical requirements.
