Client Services Assistant | Cleaning | Permanent Part-time 30 hours per week | Tresillian Wollstonecraft (Carpenter House) & Guthrie Early Learning Centre

Location: 25 Shirley Road, Wollstonecraft (Wollstonecraft is only 10 minutes by train from the city with a 3 minutes’ walk to Tresillian Wollstonecraft from the station)
Tresillian are currently recruiting for Client Services Assistant (Cleaning) for the Tresillian Carpenter House and Guthrie Early Learning Centre located at 25 Shirley Road, Wollstonecraft. The CSA’s will provide prompt, effective and efficient cleaning services to meet our client flow demands and a hazard free environment for our clients, staff and visitors to the Guthrie Early Learning Centre and Tresillian Carpenter House.
The Guthrie Early Learning Centre is a 42 place Long Day Care Centre providing education and care for children aged 0-6 years and operate Monday to Friday for 49 weeks of the year (closing for 3 weeks over the Christmas period). The Tresillian Carpenter House located in an adjoining building to Guthrie, is a corporate space consisting of approximately10 offices and a kitchenette. You would be responsible for cleaning duties that ensures a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene and infection control is maintained in both the childcare and office environments. This ensures all areas are safe and welcoming for children, staff, and visitors (please note this role does not require food preparation duties).
Please note, while the usual shift will be in the afternoon/ evenings, there may be times when the successful applicant may be rostered for alternate shifts with some overtime, due to the demands of the position and requirements for the Tresillian Residential Unit facility, which is located behind Guthrie and Carpenter House, at the same address.
Tresillian offers generous salary packaging through EziWay Salary Packaging with up to $15,900 per FBT year and Meal & Entertainment on top of this amount utilising an additional $2,650 (as a Not-for-profit and registered Health Promotion Charity). This means you will pay less tax with a higher take home salary.
Selection Criteria:
Essential:
1) Previous Experience and knowledge of the principles of cleaning.
2) Ability to perform cleaning and manual handling tasks associated with the role.
3) Working knowledge of the principles of Infection Control.
Desirable:
1) Hospital Cleaning Experience.
2) Ability to work with minimal supervision.
3) Available to work weekdays morning/evenings and weekends.
