CLINICAL ASSISTANT | Hamilton

You have a permanent part-time position (25-32 hrs/week).

Your tasks at a glance
You assist during the pre-op exams and fill the patient’s charts accurately.
You answer patient’s questions and ensure the best service.
You work closely with Optometrists.
You conduct pre-operative and post-operative tests for patients.
You update the appointment system after every patient's consultation.
You confirm by phone post-operative appointments.
You will be cross-trained for the Receptionist position (once you have completed your initial training).
A clear view of your assets
You have excellent communication skills in English.
You are comfortable with computers, technology, and Microsoft 365 (knowledge of EMR systems is an asset).
You have an interest in the medical field and/or have a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
You find it easy to connect with others and quickly build trust.
You stand out for your organizational, collaborative, and autonomous skills.
Your experience in the health care field is considered an asset (ex: optometry assistant, orderly, dental assistant, pharmacy lab technician, sterilization assistant, animal health technician assistant, etc.).
Schedule: You have flexible availability on Mondays (10:00 AM – 7:00 PM) and Tuesday through Saturday (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM).
