Job Description
Business Systems Analyst
If you enjoy solving operational challenges, improving systems that support large-scale real-world environments, and working with teams onsite at the Anaheim, CA location that keep high-traffic operations running smoothly, this is a strong opportunity. You’ll work across business and technical groups to improve processes, troubleshoot critical systems, and support technology tied to daily operations and safety-focused environments.
Responsibilties
• Gather requirements for system enhancements and process improvements
• Investigate issues, troubleshoot problems, and coordinate fixes or escalations
• Support multiple long-term initiatives while managing daily operational priorities
• Create user stories, testing documentation, and validation plans
• Maintain process documentation and internal knowledge repositories
• Provide end-user training, guidance, and ongoing support for business applications
• Partner with stakeholders across multiple departments and leadership levels
• Participate in an after-hours support rotation when needed
• Help identify more efficient technical solutions to business challenges
Key Skills
• Experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role
• Strong communication skills with both business users and technical teams
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Experience supporting enterprise applications or operational systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
• Comfortable managing changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Skills
• Experience with asset management, compliance, maintenance, or operations systems
• Reporting/dashboard tools such as Tableau, BusinessObjects, BIRT, or MicroStrategy
• Exposure to Java or XML
• Experience supporting software rollouts or user support environments

This assignment focuses on leveraging advanced Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs) to develop software tools that automate or semi-automate clinical trial data management processes. You will participate in designing and building innovative solutions to streamline tasks such as data cleaning, data capture, and database management, significantly enhancing operational efficiency, collaborating closely with experienced data managers and clinical programmers to identify requirements, develop tools, and assist in rigorous testing and implementation. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to learn about clinical trial protocols, database development, data capture, and data cleaning processes.
Desired Qualifications:
• Pursuing a degree in computer science, data science, biomedical engineering, or a related technical field
• Practical experience with open-source Large Language Models (LLMs) and Agentic LLM frameworks
• Strong foundational knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP)
• Familiarity with AWS Bedrock or similar cloud-based AI services is a plus
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Some experience with full-stack or user interface development (Streamlit, React, etc.)
