Job Description
This is an exciting postgraduate training opportunity for those interested in developing a career in medical education to develop their skills as primary care medical educators. At the end of the post, the post holder will have gained a wide range of educational experience and skills which will equip them to move on to further medical education roles.
What you would be doing
Teach and facilitate on placements managed by the Undergraduate Primary Care Education Unit.
Contribute to medical school assessments. This will include constructing questions, performing clinical assessments, and marking coursework and examinations.
Contribute to innovative educational projects relating to the undergraduate primary care placements
Contribute to curriculum design and the development of existing and new teaching sessions
Evaluate placements and teaching innovations.
Contribute to peer support and reflective learning including peer to peer observation.
Provide reports on teaching, learning and assessment activities as required.
Facilitate teaching as required on our TaCTIC (Training Course for Teachers at Imperial College) teaching course for GP tutors
Other duties as associated with working in a busy academic department
