Essential Duties and Responsibilities
General Function: Closing of mattresses using Auto Tape Edger or Manual Tape Edge machine
Specific Responsibilities:
• Alignment of panels, border and tape to stitch along mattress
• Work with ATE or MTE, able to operate and perform minor operator maintenance
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure mattresses fit for packing are sent to packing conveyor
• Report machine issues to Supervisor
Functional/Technical Competencies
Experience/Education
• Ability to read, write and understand English proficiently
• Basic math skills
• Computer skills desired
• Production line experience helpful however not required
• Attention to detail is a must
• Effective organization and planning skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively in a safe manner
