Cloud Service Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Service Manager to oversee the implementation and management of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our cloud infrastructure.
Main Responsibilities:
• GCP Monitoring & Alerts: Design and implement monitoring tools to track critical resources and services, define alerting policies, and troubleshoot incidents based on alerts and logs.
• Dataproc Monitoring: Monitor Dataproc clusters for health, performance, and cost efficiency, automate cluster scaling, and optimize job scheduling and execution.
• Cloud Composer Monitoring: Ensure the reliability of Cloud Composer environments, monitor DAG performance, and troubleshoot environment issues and dependencies.
• GCS Storage Management: Manage Google Cloud Storage buckets, lifecycle policies, and permissions, optimize storage usage, and ensure data security and compliance with access control best practices.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience managing GCP environments.
• Proficiency with GCP tools like Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Cloud Composer, and Data Proc.
• Solid experience with IAM, GCS, and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Deployment Manager).
• Experience with performance monitoring and capacity planning in a cloud environment.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automation.
