CMDB Administrator within Asia Pacific IT Team
You are the person who will look after the Completeness, Correctness, and Compliance () of our CMDB, based on the BMC solution in SAAS. You will work with our CMDB team and will be integrated in all of our ITAM activities: CMDB, Asset Management, and Software Management. You will also support our Discovery managers in their activities (Maintaining scanners, Upgrading OS, TKU, EDP, and Pattern development.) You are the force of the proposal to find the best solutions adapted to our environments.
Completeness: CIs are tested for required and recommended fields that are not populated.
Correctness: CIs are tested against pre-defined data integrity rules such as identification rules (to detect duplicate CIs), orphan CI rules, and stale CI rules.
Compliance: The CMDB data is audited for adherence to pre-defined certificates.
Dassault Systemes IT Team in Asia Pacific is responsible for enabling 3DS businesses across APAC with innovative IT Solutions and world-class infrastructure. They are also responsible for managing Production Infrastructure spread across 3 large Data Centers in Singapore, Japan, and Pune. You will be part of this world-class team.
Role & Responsibilities
Your Responsibilities on the CMDB administration:
• Manage foundation data (Company, Site, people, groups …)
• Apply modification on all catalogs (product, supplier, commercial)
• Ensure jobs (normalization, reconciliation…) are working well
• Manage permissions
• Follow Data quality (Completeness / Correctness / Compliance)
• Answer modeling and catalog requests
• Administrate ETL configurations
• Create a reporting package for the administration, monitoring, and alerting of the solution (quality, failure, …)
Qualifications/Experience
• Engineering Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or similar disciplines which helps you to discuss both high-level strategic and specific aspects.
• You are an engineer, with expertise in CMDB concepts and knowing best practices on BMC solutions.
• You are able to conceptualize and use ETL tools (Spoon Pentaho)
• You are autonomous and can challenge BMC support
