General Objective:
Able to perform CMM or Manual Inspection when requested
Measure and verify that parts meet drawing, routing and process requirements.
Provide feedback on inspection results.
Work closely with peers to ensure timely inspection of parts.
Verify that parts meet drawing and process requirements
Provide feedback to QC Manager/Supervisor about dimensional and visual inspection results.
Work closely with peers to ensure timely inspection of customer parts.
All product is inspected and completed to Norquest/Customer Quality Standard
Responsibilities:
Perform accurate CMM and manual inspections for First-Off, In-Process, and Final Inspection on parts for compliance to drawings, routings, and procedural requirements.
Generate and file CMM and manual inspection reports, as per inspection results.
Maintain records for CMM maintenance and Temperature Logs.
Help identify areas of improvement for the Quality Management System.
Increase inspection efficiency.
Ensure traceability and identification within CMM Inspection Reports.
Perform manual inspection with First-Off, In-Process, and Final Inspections on parts and components for compliance with drawings, routings, and procedural requirements.
Generate Accurate dimensional reports
Performing accurate, thorough Product Release inspection as listed on the product release form.
Comply with all HSE, QMS and corporate Norquest policies
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years’ experience operating CMM.
Basic to Advance training on Calypso and CAM 2 Measure 10 software.
Minimum 3 years’ experience using measuring and monitoring equipment.
Vast knowledge of GD&T features.
Minimum 2 Years experience in Weld inspections.
Ability to read and understand all engineering drawings.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
Minimum 2 Years experience with Faro Arm inspection.
Advanced QC measuring techniques and experience by using a variety of inspection, measurement tools and instruments.
Great attention to detail.
Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
Capable of inspecting 100% of machined parts.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
Advanced computer skills
