Alpha Q, Inc. is seeking a CNC Programmer to join our team!
This is an amazing opportunity to work with some of the best people in the industry.
This position will be located at our Colchester, CT manufacturing facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the position to include, but not limited to:
• Programming of complex aerospace components (experience with CAD models and probing preferred)
• Process a variety of parts made from aluminum, magnesium, stainless steel, Inconel titanium, etc.
• Determine process and tools required to achieve product specifications and business objectives
• Read and interpret blueprints, geometric tolerances, and symbols to meet military and commercial specifications
• Troubleshoot and or optimize existing programs
Qualifications:
• Proficient with Mastercam, Vericut, and experienced in programming 3, 4, and 5-axis machines
• Ability to program from drawings and operation process sheets
• Highly organized and able to maintain programming software, revisions, post processors, and program files and tool lists
• Punctual, reliable, and willing to work overtime as deemed necessary by supervisor to meet customer demands
• Strong interpersonal skills and able to work both independently & collaboratively
Education Required:
• 3-5 years practical experience or equivalent education (willing to train someone with prior shop experience and the desire to learn)
