BriefCheck is the UK's first employee-owned expert brief platform, designed for senior teams to solve complex business challenges fast - without recruiters or agency pitches. Used by Retail and eCommerce boards, BriefCheck connects strategic briefs to better experts, offering a smarter alternative to traditional consulting or executive hiring.
With several clients on board, a growing team of experts and backed by a compelling vision, early traction and funding; I’m now searching for a commercially-driven co-founder to lead and scale the full go-to-market engine.
Role Description
As Co-Founder, you’ll be responsible for designing and executing the outreach strategy from day one. You’ll be instrumental in building our early client base, validating key sales hypotheses, and turning expert collaboration into a repeatable, scalable revenue model.
You’ll work closely with me on aligning expert to client standards, playbooks and onboarding.
This role is perfect for someone who wants true co-founder equity and influence - not just a marketing or sales job.
What You’ll Do
• Develop and own BriefCheck’s full commercial strategy
• Identify, approach, and close B2B clients in our target segments (mid-size to enterprise)
• Build and lead the sales funnel, from outreach through close and onboarding
• Collaborate with me to align value proposition with market feedback
• Establish partnerships with decision-makers, procurement leads, and innovation units
• Help shape our brand narrative, pricing, and go-to-market positioning
• Define KPIs, test acquisition channels, and refine a scalable playbook
• Recruit and lead a high-performing sales team as we grow
What I’m Looking For
• Proven success in B2B sales or partnerships (ideally in SaaS, marketplaces, or consulting)
• You’ve built or scaled sales at an early-stage startup or led a new product line
• Excellent communicator with strong commercial instincts and founder-level grit
• Able to sell to C-suite and senior stakeholders in fast-evolving orgs
• Deep interest in the future of work, ownership models, and expert networks
• Comfortable operating independently in a fast-moving, pre-structured environment
• You believe in ownership: not just financially, but also of the mission and results
