Job Description
Alphagen Learning is looking for part-time coding teachers to facilitate its summer holiday programs. Teachers would work approximately 4 to 5 hours per day, Monday to Friday in the month of June. Best in industry salary structure.
Responsibilities
Teaching coding and technology to kids aged between 7 to 16
Experience teaching with several of the following languages/platforms: Scratch, Python (block-based or syntax), AI & Machine Learning, Minecraft Education Edition
Familiar with using generative AI tools and prompt engineering.
Work from home
Working hours per week (Monday to Friday) will be approximately 20.
Teaching hours are between 8am IST and 5pm IST (4 hours per day)
Qualifications
Must have prior experience in teaching coding online to kids in a small group setting, up to 1:4
Able to teacher younger kids aged 6+
Excellent command of English and a neutral accent to teach children internationally
Creativity and flexibility to personalise learning for students
Education: Minimum requirement either B.Ed or B.Tech. Advantage: M.Ed / M.Tech / MCA
Demonstrated excellence in coding and teaching
Any real-world coding experience is an advantage
Laptop with webcam, mic and a reliable internet connection
