Job description
Job Title: Coding Trainer – Teacher Training (Night Shift)
The Coding Trainer – Teacher Training will be responsible for training, upskilling, and certifying coding mentors and teachers. This role focuses on enabling teachers to deliver high-quality coding sessions by strengthening their technical depth, instructional approach, classroom management, and platform readiness. The role requires working during night shifts to support international business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct structured training sessions for newly onboarded coding mentors and teachers.
• Deliver refresher and upskilling sessions for existing teachers on advanced coding concepts and updated curricula.
• Evaluate teachers on coding proficiency, teaching methodology, communication, and classroom readiness.
• Design and execute training modules, assessments, and certification frameworks for coding teachers.
• Identify skill gaps and create personalized improvement plans for teachers.
• Conduct mock sessions, demo evaluations, and feedback discussions.
• Ensure teachers are industry-ready and capable of handling live classes independently from Day 1.
• Collaborate with curriculum, quality, and operations teams to align training standards.
• Maintain training documentation, trackers, and performance reports.
• Ensure adherence to quality benchmarks, training timelines, and operational SLAs. Qualifications and
Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Prior experience as a coding trainer, teacher trainer, or technical mentor.
• Strong hands-on expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, Scratch, JavaScript, or similar. • Deep understanding of coding fundamentals, data structures, and logical problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills with the ability to train adult learners.
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup or EdTech environment is a plus.
• Willingness and ability to work night shifts to support global operations. Key Performance Indicators
