They current seek a Commercial Accountant in Belfast, Northern Ireland, who wants to make a strong impact in this role.
NOTE – Applicants must possess a valid visa or passport that will allow them to work in the United Kingdom, and must reside in Northern Ireland. Sponsorship and fully-remote working are not offered.
The position:
The successful candidate will be a key member of the Finance team and the primary areas of responsibility will include financial and management reporting, short-term forecasting and business planning, submissions to government bodies, hedging and cash flows. There would also be the management of an Accountants Assistant.
Responsibilities:
• Financial and Management Reporting
• Ownership of the monthly reporting and variance analysis for the team business portfolio
• Short-term Forecasting and Business Planning
• Preparation of both short-term and long-term forecasts
• Variance analysis
• Regulatory Requirements
• Hedging Performance Analysis
• Cash Flow Analysis
• Management of Accounts Assistant
Requirements:
• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience.
• Strong analytical skills and demonstrable experience of performing analysis of actuals against forecast.
• Proven ability to take responsibility and work to strict, and often competing, reporting and commercial deadlines.
• Demonstrable ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders.
• Experience in MS Excel Financial Modelling.
