This role requires availability to work store operating hours as listed below, with flexibility to start earlier hours:
o Sunday to Wednesday 7:30am to 7:30pm
o Thursday to Saturday 7:30am to 9:30pm
As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts. You also have the availability to work alternating weekend shifts (both Saturday and Sunday).
About this work area
As a Food Commercial Manager your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Leading and implementing the commercial strategy and commercial calendar, as well as the IKEA Food communication and cross merchandising strategy in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Strong customer service skills, ensuring a seamless food customer experience within all Food areas.
Securing excellence in operations and high-quality standards of customer experience in all Food areas and optimised levels of commerciality are achieved.
Securing the correct competence within the IKEA Food team.
Developing and improving the Food business by seeking and acting upon customer feedback.
Contributing to the creation and implementation of the unit business plan and the IKEA Food business plan and ensuring food is connected to the store commercial calendar.
Looking after Swedish Food Market as well as the Swedish restaurant.
Who you are
As a Food Commercial Manager you have:
A passion for food and a drive to achieve commercial success with a strategic mindset.
A strong understanding of commerciality, you can influence and negotiate effectively to position the IKEA Food function as a profitable business.
Excellent communication skills and you can articulate and co-collaborate with various stakeholders.
Extremely efficient time management skills to ensure projects and tasks are delivered in a timely manner.
Experience in managing budgets and analysing P&Ls, you have a strong understanding of gross margin and top-line sales.
A competent and strong leader, able to implement and develop IKEA processes as well as focusing on the growth of your co-worker.
