Financial Planning Analyst - Contract
£70,000 - £80,000
London, hybrid
A European-based property consultancy is seeking a Financial Planning Analyst, eager to work collaboratively in all FP&A and financial performance aspects to drive the optimal capital income for the firm.
The successful candidate will communicate with a variety of internal stakeholders and other teams, liaising and challenging assumptions to drive effective decision-making.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for production of all forecasts and budgeting, monthly management, financial and KPI reports, as well as budgeting planning and analysis
• Challenging assumptions and decisions made by stakeholders, and oversee review of financial controls and reporting processes
• Regularly liaise with the Finance team to produce preparation, analysis and review of control dashboards
• Take full ownership of balance sheet accounts, and prepare annual budgets, variance analysis, quarterly forecasts, presentations, and ad-hoc reports
• Working closely with the Finance Business Partner, and convey strategic views on the performance of the business to contribute to projections of future expectations
Key requirements
• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong Excel skills is essential, while experience of other reporting systems is desired
• Solid accounting background
• Strong commercial experience, including good communication, budgeting and forecasting, financial modelling, and KPI analysis
• Real Estate industry knowledge is advantageous
