Earn 40 to 50 AUD per hour plus super depending on experience

The Role
You will be working across commercial projects in and around Mackay as the lead glazier and site contact for the business. This is hands-on commercial glazing installation work covering framing, glazing systems, and door hardware, with responsibility for leading small site teams of 1 to 3 people and liaising directly with builders' site foremen. Quality of workmanship is non-negotiable. This company's reputation has been built on it for 30 years.

Day to day you will be across:
Installing commercial glazing systems and high-end window and door products
Sub-framing, laser levels, and installation using 500 series screws and claw bolts
Fitting door closers and automatic door operators
Reading and interpreting shop drawings and architect drawings
Leading small site teams of 1 to 3 people on commercial projects
Acting as the company site contact with builders' site foremen
Working across schools, hospitals, retail shopfronts, government buildings, and sports halls
What We Need
Cert III in Glass and Glazing or equivalent NZ glazing qualification, non-negotiable
Proven commercial glazing installation experience across framing, glazing, and door systems
Experience with sub-framing, laser levels, 500 series screws, and claw bolts
Experience fitting door closers and automatic door operators
Ability to read shop drawings and architect drawings
Current White Card, EWP ticket, and valid driver's licence, all required
Ability to lead small site teams and communicate professionally with site foremen
Genuine willingness to relocate to Mackay long-term
