Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Contracts Commercial Management
Oversee all commercial aspects of bid submissions, including contract reviews, risk assessments, and the development of mitigation strategies
Lead client negotiations and contribute to the preparation of submission documents
Assist with scope and risk identification, subcontractor engagement, and pricing reviews
Operational Commercial Support
Develop and execute claim strategies for potential or active disputes
Provide commercial guidance and support to project teams on contractual matters
Improve the administration of commercial contract policies, systems, and procedures
Lead negotiations on major contract variations, claims, and renewals
Ensure adherence to statutory and contractual compliance requirements
Could you be our Commercial Manager?
Tertiary qualification in Commercial Law, Commerce, or Construction Management
Demonstrated experience in commercial management or contract administration or management, with a strong legal foundation
In-depth knowledge of contract and construction law, as well as commercial project administration
Proven ability to deliver strong commercial outcomes in operational settings
Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
