We have an exciting opportunity available for a Commercial Office Manager located in our Melbourne branch. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced family-owned business, with offices in all states of Australia as well as in New Zealand and Los Angeles.
About the Role
Due to growth, we are searching for a highly astute Commercial Office Manager to lead and oversee operations in our Melbourne branch. This unique role will manage the day to day and be responsible for ensuring effective running of the branch, with a direct report you will be leading an administration team, working collaboratively with the Sales Manager in supporting sales to achieve company objectives.
Based in our Melbourne branch located in Tullamarine, you will oversee all administration for foodservice/hospitality sales teams working closely with Head Office and will be responsible for overseeing Warehouse, Service equipment department and financial controls in Victoria, with overseeing operational running of a branch and providing valuable up to date reporting in collaboration with the Finance team in Sydney. This role will provide strong leadership with responsibilities for managing and supporting a small team.
Responsibilities:
Smooth and efficient operational running of the branch
Provide leadership and management of the administration team, supporting and mentoring team members
Manage debtors/creditors
Managing sales administration support
Overseeing the Warehouse and Service departments
Reporting and managing a budget
Track and drive performance
Communication and reporting back to head office
About You
A background in a similar role running a small office preferably within FMCG, food or beverage industry
Strong administration and management skills including experience managing debtors
Demonstrated leadership skills with a keen interest in developing your people
With strong commercial acumen you will be a highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
A strong communicator with the ability to drive results, be solutions focused and able to identify issues early on
