Distinction Whangarei is looking for a Commis Chef to join our team and play a vital role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests.
In your role your responsibilies will include
Food preparation - assisting in the preparation and cooking of our menus
Kitchen operations - support our senior chefs in all kitchen activities including mise en place, food storage, maintaining hygiene standards and cleaning
Quality control - follow food safety and hygiene guidelines to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Flexibility - ensure you maintain efficiency while working on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
What we need from you
Previous experience and suitabile qualifications
Ability to work weekends and holidays
You must be eligable to work in New Zealand no visa support is available for this position
