Crown Resorts is a great place to visit and it’s an even better place to work, a place where you can play your part in creating joyful experiences for our guests and our people. We value passion, creativity, and an appetite for change - for the better. Here, you’ll be part of the team, empowered to explore more, experience more and supported by your leader to grow and develop.
The role
Crown Sydney is looking for exceptional talent to join our Hotel Concierge team on a full-time, permanent basis. Based in Sydney’s most luxurious property, you’ll be an ambassador for Crown whilst providing elevated and personalised experiences for a range of guests, visitors and customers during their stay, and ensuring any special requirements are met.
Working in a fast-paced and guest-facing environment, you’ll be coordinating restaurant bookings, limousines, tickets and admission to local attractions, as well as providing information on events, activities and services, suggesting options that align with our guests interests and desires. As a part of the broader Concierge department, you may also support the Residential Concierge team from time to time, where you’ll accept calls and coordinate activities on behalf of our on-site residents, as well as facilitation of Crown’s Sky Deck tours to the general public.
Some of the key responsibilities will involve:
Delivering professional, smooth and effective daily operations of the Hotel Concierge desk
Providing suggestions and coordinate activity services on behalf of guests such as facilities, bookings and reservations
Maintaining excellent product knowledge of events and facilities of Crown Hotels and the broader Crown complex; including Crown Rewards, retail, gaming, food and beverage and entertainment
Liaising with other departments across the hotel such as Front Office, Bell, Spa & Housekeeping to ensure successful delivery of daily operational requirements
Following SOPs and systems appropriately with regard to special requests and account payments
Ensuring data entry/admin and history records are managed accurately in Opera
Supporting the Residential Concierge team with overflow, including reservations, tours and local knowledge
You’ll have:
Availability to work 8 hour shifts between 7 am and 11 pm, with potential for 24/7 availability as required
Ability to commit to shifts across a 7-day rotating roster, including nights, weekends and public holidays
Experience in a similar frontline / customer-facing role within a hotel or residential Apartment environment
Understanding of Property Management Systems (preferably OPERA)
Proven ability and skills to provide superior customer service standards and requirements in a luxury setting
Intermediate skills with the Microsoft office suite of products (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams etc)
A qualification in hospitality or business-related qualification will be highly regarded
What we offer you:
Full-time, permanent opportunity based in the luxurious Crown Sydney
Complimentary meals at our on-site staff restaurant (variety of hot foods, salad + sandwich bar, fruit and pastries)
Generous discounts across Crown hotels Australia wide, as well as our restaurants and bars
Tailored uniform provided, laundered free on-site for every shift
Opportunity to take part and be rewarded in Crown’s group-wide recognition and awards program
Ability to be an active member and contribute to Crown’s community, diversity & inclusion committees
