Job Description
Thorburn Flex est à la recherche d’un(e) commis à l’expédition, réception et entrepôt fiable et rigoureux(se) pour soutenir les opérations quotidiennes au niveau de l’expédition, de la réception et de la gestion d’inventaire.
Une expérience en milieu manufacturier constitue un atout important, sans être obligatoire.
Ce poste exige une bonne capacité physique ainsi qu’un grand respect des procédures et des standards de qualité.

L’expérience avec un chariot élévateur constitue un atout important et pourrait mener à des responsabilités accrues.
Responsabilités principalesExpédition
Maintenir la propreté de la zone d’expédition (quais de chargement, portes, postes de travail)
Appliquer les différentes méthodes d’emballage selon les normes de l’entreprise
Récupérer les produits finis des différents départements
Respecter les protocoles d’emballage et d’expédition
Utiliser des outils d’emballage (perceuse, machine à cercler, scie) de façon sécuritaire
Emballer les matériaux de façon sécuritaire et efficace
Charger les camions à l’aide d’un transpalette en s’assurant du bon transporteur
Préparer le matériel destiné à la sous-traitance
Collaborer avec les autres départements au besoin
Entrepôt et Réception
Identifier correctement les matériaux reçus
Suivre les instructions détaillées d’identification et de marquage
Comprendre et appliquer les systèmes de localisation d’inventaire
Préparer les commandes pour la production
Opérer la machine à rouler les barres (formation fournie si nécessaire)
Effectuer des vérifications d’inventaire et des comptes cycliques
Placer le matériel aux emplacements appropriés
Thorburn Flex is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping, Receiving & Warehouse Associate to support daily operations across shipping, receiving, and warehouse functions.
This position requires a strong work ethic, physical capability, and the ability to follow detailed procedures in a structured manufacturing environment.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is not mandatory but is considered a strong asset.
Physical Requirements
Good overall physical condition
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the day
Ability to lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs
Comfortable handling light equipment and tools
Forklift experience is a definite asset and may lead to expanded responsibilities.
Key ResponsibilitiesShipping
Maintain cleanliness of the shipping area, including loading dock, doorways, and workstations
Apply various packing methods according to company standards
Retrieve finished goods from production departments
Follow detailed packing and shipping protocols
Operate packaging tools (drills, strapping machine, saws) safely and effectively
Package materials safely and efficiently
Load trucks using pallet jack and ensure correct carrier assignment
Prepare materials for outsource processing
Communicate and coordinate with other departments when required
Warehouse & Receiving
Identify incoming materials accurately
Follow detailed marking and receiving instructions
Understand and apply stock location designation systems
Pick orders for production
Operate bar rolling machine (training provided if necessary)
Perform stock checks and cycle counts
Place materials in correct stock locations
Qualifications & Attributes
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow structured procedures
Organized and reliable
Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial setting
Team-oriented with good communication skills

This is a permanent, full-time position on the day shift.

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
