About the role

You will be the voice of a business that owns its product from paddock to plate, connecting our teams, international customers, and the Australian rural community. We’re looking for a communicator who can adapt across audiences with calm confidence, strong strategic thinking, and a genuine love of writing.

The role is responsible for establishing a consistent, authoritative voice within the sector, strengthening Hewitt’s reputation, and clearly communicating the organisation’s unique end-to-end supply chain capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Align global and local messaging, ensuring our teams across markets remain connected to our culture, purpose, and business strategy.
Lead internal communications and employee engagement, creating clear, high-quality messaging that informs and connects our workforce.
Drive brand and sustainability storytelling, highlighting our leadership in regenerative agriculture and animal welfare for key audiences.
Support corporate reputation and leadership communications, including executive messaging, issues management, and a considered approach to corporate social media.
About You

You are a strategic and confident communicator who can translate complex ideas into clear, compelling stories. Commercially minded, you understand the difference between a commodity and a premium brand and how strong narratives build reputation and trust. You thrive in a fast-paced, global environment and bring calm judgement when working with senior stakeholders. Most importantly, you’re passionate about purposeful storytelling and excited to help a values-led Australian food company grow its voice on the world stage.

You will bring

Exceptional communicator with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling stories across multiple formats and audiences.
Commercially aware, with an understanding of the difference between a commodity and a brand; experience in food, FMCG, or retail supply chains is highly regarded.
Experience working across offshore markets and with diverse cultures is an advantage
Calm, adaptable and digitally savvy, able to manage competing priorities while leveraging modern communications platforms and tools.
You understand the difference between a commodity and a brand. Experience in food, FMCG, or retail supply chains is highly advantageous
Confident using digital tools and social platforms, able to represent the business online and leverage channels to maximise reach and impact.
