The Bureau's Flood Warning Infrastructure Network (FWIN) Program is leading a $230 million Australian Government initiative to improve flood warning infrastructure in Australia's highest flood risk areas over a 10-year period. This will be done through the acquisition, upgrade and integration of key local government-owned, and some state government-owned rain and river level flood gauges into its existing flood warning network across Australia.

The FWIN Program has a dedicated Stakeholder Engagement and Communications Team who is seeking an experienced Communications Advisor to deliver strategic, planned and human-focused communications that highlights the work and benefits of the FWIN Program to internal and external audiences.

The role reports to the FWIN Manager, Stakeholder Engagement and works closely with the Bureau's Communications Program to ensure alignment with the Bureau Strategy 2022-2027??????? and the Bureau's Communications Plan.
