2 Female clients, 1 in Kingswood, one in Werrington.
In-person interviews will be held on Thursday, 11th and Friday, 12th, in Glenhaven
Training tailored to the clients' needs will take place on Tuesday, the 16th, in Penrith.
Assistance provided to participants includes, but is not limited to
. Personal hygiene: the participant has requested female-only, as this is for religious purposes.
.Manual handling
· Personal hygiene & grooming, including washing/showering and continence care
· Outings such as shopping & attending appointments
· Home care/housekeeping duties (e.g. cooking, household cleaning, laundry, etc.)
· Assisting with eating & drinking
· Encourage and assist participants to take part in local community activities (e.g. cinemas, concerts, and sporting events).
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:
You must be very friendly, respectful, and understanding.
A working smartphone and the ability to learn relevant industry software.
NDIS Worker Induction Module (certificate) or willing to obtain.
NDIS Worker COVID-19 Training Module. (Certificate) or willing to obtain.
Current NSW driver's license (minimum P2) and a reliable car.
Ability to undergo a satisfactory NDIS Worker Screener Check.
Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
Certificate III in Aged Care (desirable).
Right to work in Australia.
Be available for overnight support
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
Previous experience in community care.
Able to work up to 40 hours per week.
