About the position
Council’s Family Health Support Services Department is looking for a Community Transport Officer.
The main responsibilities will include:
Driving the bus for the Community Transport program which takes passengers on regular trips to a variety of locations including shopping centres, senior clubs, the Frankston Library, the Peninsula Aquatic Recreation Centre and exercise programs
Driving the bus for the Social Support Group Outings program and participating in social outings along with passengers and a volunteer
Provide high levels of customer service and support
Undertake administrative duties to ensure smooth running of the service
This is a part time role working 30.4 hours per week, over 4 days per week.
About you
Experience driving a bus;
Ability to provide safe, friendly and supportive service to passengers, including older people and people with a disability;
Current Victorian heavy vehicle driver licence, minimum Light Rigid (LR) category; and
Current driver accreditation to drive a commercial passenger vehicle.
