Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Company Accountant, located in Banbridge Co Down. The Company Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing monthly management accounts, yearly financial statements, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations throughout multiple European countries. Daily tasks include bookkeeping, handling accounts payable and receivable, preparing tax returns, and managing budgets. Additionally, the Company Accountant will assist with pricing calculations, and analyse financial data to inform company decisions and support audit processes.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in bookkeeping ( ideally SAGE 50) and handling accounts payable and receivable
• Experience in preparing financial statements, budgets, and tax returns
• Strong analytical skills to review financial data and inform decisions
• Knowledge of financial regulations in Ireland and UK, and compliance standards
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an on-site environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant with relevant Construction sector experience
