Key Responsibilities
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for the following key tasks:
Coding invoices and processing payments to vendors via ACH payments, checks, and wires.
Importing claim payments from Electronic Health Records into Netsuite.
Reimbursement mileage and expense reports.
Preparing monthly bank reconciliations.
Reviewing the daily reconciliation of MetroCard Logs for all sites and communicating any discrepancies to management.
Maintaining Inventory of MetroCards, managing orders, and distribution to each site.
Preparing Journal entries.
Reviewing and submitting invoices for reimbursement under the RHC Grant Program.
Maintaining and recording Petty Cash Fund transactions for all sites and reviewing petty cash receipts.
Preparing year-end vendor 10++ forms using Netsuite data.
Assisting with month-end and year-end closing.
Supporting the Controller and Senior Accountant with Audit Preparation and gathering finance-related documents.
