Position: Compliance IT Specialist

Reports to: Head, Risk & Business Surveillance

Objective:

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing regulatory inspections, ensuring the Bank's compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure IT systems and processes adhere to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Conduct thorough Information Systems audits, security assessments, and application control reviews.
• Develop and implement effective audit methodologies and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to conduct compliance reviews and provide expert advice.
• Prepare and submit regular reports to the Board, Audit & Compliance Committee, and other stakeholders.

Essential Competencies:
• In-depth knowledge of Indian banking regulations, particularly RBI and FEMA requirements.
• Strong coordination and project management skills.
• Excellent research capabilities and analytical skills to interpret complex regulatory guidelines.
• Comprehensive understanding of banking operations, including trade, remittances, and treasury functions.
• Ability to drive results and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications and Experience:

Chartered Accountant (CA) certification preferred. A degree in Law or Company Secretaryship can be an added advantage.

1-2 years of post-qualification experience in financial services, preferably in handling regulatory inspections.

Impeccable integrity and strong compliance consciousness.
